A Perfect Day at God’s Gift Chapel and Event Center!

Our wedding at God’s Gift Chapel and Event Center was an absolute dream — from the stunning location to the amazing weather, and most importantly, the incredible team who brought it all together. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The venue is breathtaking. With the chapel’s elegant charm and the event space just steps from the water, it is beautiful. The weather on our big day was absolutely perfect — warm but comfortable — and the breeze coming off the water added such a peaceful, refreshing touch that made everything feel so much better!

But what made our day truly unforgettable was the staff — especially our wedding coordinator, Ginger. Ginger was nothing short of phenomenal. She was organized, upbeat, responsive, and genuinely cared about every detail. From the planning process to the very last moment of the reception, she made everything feel seamless and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone who’s both professional and down-to-earth, but Ginger was all that and more. She was the calm in the storm, and we honestly can’t imagine our wedding day without her.

Our guests raved about the venue and how smooth everything felt — and we owe that to Ginger and the entire team. Everyone we interacted with was warm, helpful, and clearly passionate about making each wedding special.

If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing location and a team that truly goes above and beyond, God’s Gift Chapel and Event Center is the place. We’re so thankful for everything they did to make our day as wonderful as it was!

I got married at God’s Gift Chapel this past April, and overall, it was a truly beautiful and unforgettable day. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, both the chapel and reception space received so many compliments from our guests, and it was truly my dream wedding venue.
One of the best parts of this venue was working with Ginger, the coordinator. She was kind, flexible, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. We had terrible weather on our wedding day, and she was calm, prepared, and professional the entire time. She also did an amazing job with the décor and florals, everything looked stunning!
The bridal house was another highlight. It was spacious and beautifully designed. I had six bridesmaids, my mom, our hair stylist, and our makeup artist all getting ready at the same time and we were totally comfortable.
One thing that really meant a lot to us was how affordable and flexible the venue was. Ginger was understanding about our payment schedule due to my husband’s military status, and we felt like we got amazing value for everything that was included.
However, I do think there are areas that could be improved. The time management on the day of the wedding felt off, we were rushed through our reception and had our sparkler exit almost an hour earlier than planned. Several of our friends and family also mentioned feeling rushed, which was disappointing. Communication during the actual event was a little chaotic at times, and unfortunately, that led to some confusion and missed moments. There were parts of the day where I genuinely had no idea what was going on, which isn’t really how you want to feel as a bride.
Even with the hiccups, I can honestly say it was a beautiful day and I’m so grateful we chose God’s Gift Chapel for our wedding venue!

We were the first couple to book at this place, so it's very new. They have had a couple weddings now, so they are more experienced. We had a lot of kinks to work out at first, but in the end, they really came through and our wedding was magical. Venue is so pretty. I wouldn't recommend to someone with over 125 guests because that's all the chapel will hold and the pavilion for the reception is too tight to fit that many people plus the food and the DJ. We put the DJ and catering in the sun. Thankfully the DJ had his own tent. But the weather was great, so it worked out. If it happens to rain on your wedding day, you could make it work, but it would be so tight. We put all our guest, the photo booth, our table, and the cake table under the pavilion and it was still spacious. The dance floor was also in the sun, but it was by the pond, and it made good photo opportunities. It was a great wedding, and I can't get over how pretty it is there.

I truly enjoyed working with the staff at the venue. Ginger was awesome and made sure my son and daughter-in-law had their dream wedding. I highly recommend renting the two properties at the venue site along with the venue itself. Our family and guests from out of town were able to stay in them for a reasonable price.
